MMD Construction Team Inspired by Leadership Insights from Marie Gleeson

The MMD Construction team was pleased to attend the Inspirational Leadership Evening hosted by the Kinsale & District Lions Club on February 20th,2025, at the newly opened Shane Fitzsimons Riverside Theatre in Kinsale Community School.

We were privileged to hear from Marie Gleeson, a former Navy Ships Captain and renowned motivational speaker. Marie shared her experiences from her 20 year career navigating challenging environments in the Atlantic Ocean. Her Insights on resilience, decision making and team performance struck a chord with our team.

At MMD Construction, we are always looking to learn and grow and events like this help us to bring fresh ideas back to our projects and teams. We value strong leadership and effective teamwork and hearing Marie’s perspective on transforming challenges into opportunities and leading with purpose was truly inspiring. Her talk reinforced the importance of adaptability and strategic problem solving- qualities that are essential in our industry.
