MMD Construction was the main Contractor, Project Supervisor Design Stage (PSDP) and Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) for the works at DDW. This project was Design and Build and most of the design was completed by our in-house Design Team. Our design met the exact needs and requirements for the operations of the facility. Part of the design process included the complete planning application and all associated documentation which was managed by MMD Construction.

As PSCS, MMD Construction had the responsibility of managing and coordinating all health and safety matters during the works. All works were completed in accordance with the contract documents and complied with all statutory requirements including the Building Control Regulations.

This project consisted of the demolition of an existing portal frame partially complete building and the construction of a new office, laboratory and manufacturing facility for DDW. The nature of the project meant that there were significant mechanical and electrical installations.
